Terms of Use

Effective: October 17, 2026Last updated: October 26, 2026

These terms set the ground rules for using lockhold.com. Please read them along with our Privacy Policy.

In short: our content is general information, not professional advice. Contacting us doesn’t make you a client; any work we do is governed by a separate signed agreement. Past results aren’t a guarantee.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of lockhold.com and everything on it (the “site”). By using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

2. About Lockhold

The site is run by Lockhold Consulting LLC, a Nevada limited liability company based in Henderson, Nevada (“Lockhold,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are an operations consulting firm. You can reach us at hello@lockhold.com.

3. Information, not professional advice

The content on this site, including our guides, articles, templates and book recommendations, is general information for business owners. It is not legal, financial, tax, accounting or investment advice, and it is not advice for your specific situation.

Before acting on anything you read here, consider getting advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.

4. No client relationship

Using the site, sending us the project form, emailing us, or speaking with us does not make you a client or create any consulting, advisory or other professional relationship. A client relationship begins only when you and Lockhold both sign a written agreement for an engagement.

Until then, we have no obligation to take on your project, and please don’t send us confidential information you aren’t comfortable sharing before an agreement is in place.

5. Engagements and signed agreements

Any work we do for you is governed by the separate written agreement we both sign, such as a proposal, statement of work or consulting agreement. That agreement sets out the scope, fees and other terms of the work. If it conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement controls.

6. Results and track record

The case studies, results and figures on this site describe specific past businesses, including companies our founder built and ran before Lockhold. They are shared to show the kind of work we do. They are not a promise or guarantee that you will get the same or similar results.

Every business is different, and outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, such as your market, team, resources and decisions.

7. Free resources and templates

We may offer free resources, such as our SOP template, guides and checklists. They are provided “as is” for general use. You are responsible for deciding whether a resource fits your business, adapting it, and checking it against the laws and requirements that apply to you.

You may use and adapt our free templates for your own business. Please don’t resell them or republish them as your own.

8. Intellectual property

The site and its content, including text, graphics, page design, the Lockhold name and logo, and our templates, are owned by Lockhold Consulting LLC or used with permission, and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view and share pages from the site for your own personal or internal business use, and link to them. Except as allowed in these Terms, please don’t copy, modify, distribute or use our content or marks without our written permission. Book titles, book covers and other third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

9. Acceptable use

When using the site, please don’t:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • send spam, false information, or harmful code through our forms;
  • try to gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it, or interfere with how it works;
  • scrape, copy or collect content or information from the site in bulk by automated means without our permission; or
  • pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your connection with any person or business.

We may block access or ignore submissions that break these rules.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we don’t promise that it will always be complete, current, error-free, secure or uninterrupted.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Lockhold and its owners, team members and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the site or its content, even if we were told they were possible.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, and it does not apply to work under a signed engagement agreement, which has its own terms.

13. Indemnification

To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lockhold and its owners and team members from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that arise from your misuse of the site or your breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the site will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you and we consent to those courts’ jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Changes apply from that date. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a part of these Terms, that is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
